SHOUTcast Options Explained

Bitrate
This refers to the amount of bandwidth used in your stream. It will affect the quality of audio (or video). As a rough guide, 24k is like telephone quality and 128k is CD quality. If you're not sure which bitrate is right for you, check out our bitrate guide.

Listener Slots
This refers to the maximum number of people who will be able to connect (listen) to your stream at one time.

Network
We offer 2 different networks. The standard network is strongly recommended for most stations.

Currency
We accept payments in US Dollars, British Pounds Sterling and Euro for your convenience. If your countries currency is different to these, you will be able to still pay in your own currency and it will automatically be converted at the checkout.
